Dear Lovelies
How are you? Welcome back to my blog. It’s been a long weekend for us here in Dubai, the weather is getting better now and most of us spent our days outdoor. Did I mention to you guys the Big sales here are pretty crazy! and Black Friday was madness! I used to go crazy whenever there is a Sale but now I just take advantage of the deals and only get what I need from my product empties. I am always on the hunt for a bargain and don’t think I’ve ever paid full price for anything LOL! C’mon I’ve been here in UAE that long and I know every when DSF is (DSF Means Dubai Shopping Festival).
Simple and clean has been a staple look in fashion for a long time. For me trends just come and go. I just had my closet de-cluttering and ditch all my florals to Neat whites & cropped black pants. I’m not losing my creativity, it’s my choice of not having to think what to wear at work. Initially it was my excuse of not letting anyone thinks that I’m just repeating clothes, but my wardrobe just grew realizing I’m only buying mostly white tops, I can still be playful with my trousers and skirts, but top should stay plain.
my Own Brand
If you’re thinking about minimizing your wardrobe and adapting to something less fancy. Try to experiment first because you’ll never know it might work for you same with me. I still believe in the ROI of fashion, dressing to impress or first impression last is something that is still important. Since, I’ve adopted a minimalist lifestyle, I have looked for basics that work across situations like training etc. Finding your “look” can take time but realizing what you feel confident and comfortable in is more empowering. In short, my personal branding.
I feel liberated, because I freed myself for these assumed expectations. Being unlimited means growing the right kind of attitude and that what matters! Minimalism doesn’t always so damn bright white, it can be de-cluttering your wardrobe, focusing on your 5 choices, changing your diet etc. Of course, initiative should come within and on the end, you’ll realize what’s most important to you.
“That’s been one of my mantras—focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it’s worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains.” —Steve Jobs

I’m all for keeping things simple as well. Simple yet elegant. I should take the cue from you and start decluttering/destashing my closet as well. 🙂

I definitely do not pay full price for anything. If it’s something I want and it’s full price – I am waiting for it to go on sale!

I already had that idea before, that all plain tops and black pants. But i didn’t stick with one color. I tried to complete the color of the same style. I ain’t working anyway. That’s why i don’t care what they cause i ain’t have any co workers.
