Music performed to aid the practice of Meditation while choice of “tranquillity” is still based on someone’s taste. When your anxious – you tend to listen to something that you can connect emotionally. Relaxing sounds has positive effects on sleep, It’s an anxiety relief. So, which Zen do you prefer most? Binaural beats or Worship Songs?
Binaural frequency beats are most popular for those who has conditions related to inability to relax. It’s a therapy to re-wire someone’s brainwave to improve low moods & alter state of consciousness. It’s an auditory illusion recognized by two other waves. If you’d like to know more about this’ look it up in YouTube. Frequencies can be lower to 1500Hz with Less 40Hz difference. Sounds promising, right? You can download the converted MP3’s online, most of them are free so why not check them out.
Worship Songs are Christ-cantered melody, glorifying the foundation of church. One good example is Hillsong Church that has produced hundreds of Christian songs. Their music calms the spirit and feed the broken soul. It uplifts someone’s mood in a different approach. Also available in YouTube!
I believe Music for anxiety doesn’t have to be wind chimes and Gregorian chants, Sometimes All we need is Faith. Hillsong Music heals our sorrows and pain while Frequency beats is just an alternative. I know science can do wonders on our brain but I’ll stick with being conventional.

Nice ruminations! It’s always interesting to peek into someone’s inner world — it helps to see that we’re not alone. It’s nice to “meet” you, and thanks for being a follower!

Loved by the King of kings
When I’m stressed, I only want to listen to music that I already know and like. I would not be able to fully appreciate new songs at that moment, even if some time later they were to become some of my favorites.

Absolutely, whichever works for all of us 🙂

I love worship music of all kinds. It’s like food to my soul some artist sound as if they are ministering with song right along with the angels. The Binions, William Murphy, Psalmist Raine to name a few. I love the how they usher the presence of the Holy Spirit into the room. I would say calming and relaxing but most times I find myself crying in adoration.
