Getting ready with me!

When a blog is becoming an obligation – GRWM (getting ready with me)

So, I thought of writing another catch-up – sort of GRWM (getting ready with me) blog. Nothing fancy, just laid-back writing minding my own business. So, join me and stay till the end.

My blog is not flawless. My style of writing is very much raw and sometimes unfiltered. I don’t post for the sake of putting up content. I intend to share rich scripts of rational living. Again, I’m not a life coach – my narration is purely from experience and observations. Some might agree, some may oppose my weirdness or philosophy.

Keeping up with “Solace by Rhea” is literature that I commit to continue.

I only write when Inspiration strikes or kicks in. I don’t usually recycle my prints; what’s published is usually gone into my scrolls. I’m trying to be relevant as much as possible, bringing more defined/crisp subjects that best describe my argument.

How do I keep my cool?

I can say its faith; this page unfolds around uncertainty. That belief carries on till now; the beauty of uncertainty is to live consciously. To ignite the unknown with a “Come what may” approach.

Through the years, I have managed to come up with my own passage:

  • My thoughts are paramount; it is my duty to keep them guarded. It is our call to look after ourselves and to stay away from the things that gives us anxiety. Observing solitude creates balance.
  • Today, Solace gave me a temporary flight from life’s hurdles. I am my own solace and so are you. Solace by rhea is my gig! My haven where I can be true and authentic.
  • FAITH has different languages and GRACE is not based on your belief. Someone’s belief is no different from others faith. Religion is not a division and blessings aren’t based from faith.
  • Our ego is like a balloon; as we mature it expands, it stretches when we refuse, and it burst when we hit the lowest point of our lives. People needs to experience the taste of failure to bounce back stronger, you appreciate things more when the storm is over.
  • Watch out! avoid the trap of overselling your Gratitude. We sometimes get overwhelmed and overshare unnecessary feeds in social media. #Iamfeelingblessed is abused most of the time. Why don’t we celebrate instead those who overcome rejections, fears, and relapse?
  • Practice Makes Permanent When you do it often it became a habit; when it’s regular it turns reliable. ( I don’t own this! I picked this line from my NLP prac )
  • You don’t find purpose; you build around it. When I was still young, I keep on asking myself where I’m bound to go, what is my purpose? Now I understand – we build our own path and purpose doesn’t exist. Our Vision is more pragmatic, so strong that we have the power to make it happen.

So, you see I only have few and I tried to be more eloquent here LOL.

Which one is your favourite quote from me?

I practice blogging without obligation, because sometimes less is more.

I think my favorite quote is the one about building around purpose. That is so wise.

I like your unfiltered approach to blogging. I think too many blogs are so stiff and every single post is something sponsored.

  3. Bryan Carey

I’m one of the few that doesn’t oversell gratitude online. I like to share and talk about things I’m doing, but that is about it. I probably should share at least a few #iamfeelingblessed moments.

  5. Talya Stone

I really like your point about overselling gratitude. It is a really fine balance to keep, and I agree an element of guarding is required in this world.

I like the idea of blogging without obligation. It’s something I have been doing off late. Earlier, I used to try to do three posts a week, and the stress of scheduling and calendar, and everything was just too much for me.

  19. Just Juan

As a fellow personal blogger, I know all about not having a flawless blog and writing in a way that is oftentimes raw. I think that’s what makes this style of blogging intriguing though it may be something of a dying breed with everyone so focused on SEO and influencing society. I look forward to seeing more from you down the line.

  20. MELANIE EDJOURIAN

Blogging can be very time consuming sometimes. There is more work than some realise, it’s not just about sponsored posts and free stuff – nothing is free.
